With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan P. McCreery of Sheffield Lake, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joan left this world on June 23, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Dawn Marie McCreery; her granddaughters, McKenzie and Lauren; and her parents, Lester Boenhen and Beverly Boenhen.
She is survived by: her husband Robert McCreery; her children, Mary Katherine Staver (Richard) of Jacksonville, David Wilhelms of North Royalton and Robert "Rob" McCreery (Nicole) of Wellington Additional; her grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon, Brooke, Parker, Michael, Jacen and Ratty; her great grandchildren, Zoe and Ryleigh; and her siblings, Karen Yantek (Mike) of Strongsville and Lester Boenhen of Elyria.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel (3224 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44055). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at the Resthaven Memory Gardens (3700 Center Rd, Avon, OH 44011).
