He was predeceased by: his parents, Arbie Alsept and Wilda Alsept (VanNaular); his son Joshua Gayheart; his grandchildren, Skyler Irven, Jonathan Alsept Jr. and Andre Harrison; and his brothers, Jimmy, Ricky, Joseph and Corbett.
He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Alsept (Regina), Amanda Gayheart (Michael Elswick Jr.), Rebecca Mata, Rhonda Kay Alsept, Roxana Nead and Arthur Jay Alsept; his grandchildren, Daymien Alsept, Alexander Heintz, Joshua Gayheart Jr., Skilyar Alsept, Adryanna Davis, Michael Alsept (Mariela), Lily Christie, Zachary Christie, Preston Thornsberry, Mason Prelipp, Jeffrey Alsept, Vanessa Alsept, Nevaeh Alsept, Juan Daniel Mata and Alexander Mata; his partner Corinda Gibson; his sisters, Sindra Myers and Mary Jane Alsept; and his nephew Paul Jewell. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
