It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolee J Kissel (Shelby, Ohio), who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carolee J Kissel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur O'Green and Arlene O'Green (Walter); her husband Ronald Kissel; her children, Pamela Hoffman and Michael Kissel; her granddaughter Jennifer Hoffman; her great grandchildren, Ethan McKown and Harley Kissel; and her sister Sharon Newman.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce McKown (late Terry) of Excelsior Springs, Jerry Kissel (Debbie) of Shelby, Wayne Kissel (Cheryl) of Shelby and Bonnie Bishop of Johnsville, Ohio; and her sister Rebecca O'Green of Mason City. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barkdull Funeral Home (33 N Gamble St, Shelby, OH 44875). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In place of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve at 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
