He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambert Morris and Helen Morris (Knepper); his siblings, Sonny Morris (Gayle), Don Morris, Jimmy Morris, Jane Eshelman (George) and Carol Jean Morris; and his in-laws, Carolyn Morris and Carl Kleman.
He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Olewiler; his children, Molly Hoover (Randy Siegfried), Sara Hall and Nathan Morris (Angela); his grandchildren, Zachary Hoover (Julia), Derek Hoover (MaryHeather), Bryce Hoover (Sydney), Hayley Zappa (Michael), Taylor Morris, Camryn Morris and Fynlee Morris; his great grandchildren, Henry, Deacon, Wes Hoover, Charlotte, Andrew Hoover, Michael and Vivienne Zappa; his siblings, Doug Morris, Blair Morris (Evelyn), Pete Morris (Karen), Victor Morris (Becky), Peg Lybarger (Alvin), Sandy Kleman and Penny Ludben (Jim); his in-laws, Sarah Morris, Suzanne Bell, Bob Olewiler (Dorothy) and Dave Olewiler (Amelia); and his close friends, Mike Metzger and Jim Ritchie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Penwell Funeral Home (168 W Main St, Shelby, OH 44875). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the United Church of Christ (23 Church St, Shelby, OH 44875).
