He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Sykes and Laura Sykes (Fox). He is survived by: his children, Bryan Sykes (Rachel) of Willard, Christina Sykes of Bucyrus and Laura Sykes (Seth Bennett) of Bucyrus; his grandchildren, Kaylor, MaKenzie Sykes of Willard and Brayden Sykes; his former wife Cheryl Sykes; and his siblings, Peggy Lawson of West Virginia, Ann Conley of Kentucky, Jay Sykes (Susan) and Michael Sykes (Elisha) of West Virginia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
