He is survived by: his wife Patricia S. "Patty" Amert (Durkin); his children, Becky Neuenschwander of Shelby and Christopher Amert (Tara) of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Olin and Vada; his son David Amert (Kelly Dawson) of Shelby; his grandchildren, Addison, Brayden and Andrea Amert; his son Jason Amert (Shawna) of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Wilson, Karli, Erin and Madelyn; his uncle David Amert; and his in-laws, Maggie Van Wagner and Tim Durkin (Mary). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
