We bid farewell to Emogene Briggs of Shelby, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 11, 2025 at the age of 98. Emogene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wesley and Mabel Payton (Perry); her husband Roland V. Briggs; her siblings, Hazel McCarty, Faye Caugherty, Nelda Koenig and Denzil Payton; and her grandson Michael Jacoby.
She is survived by: her children, David Briggs, Karen Briggs Wikholm (Dana) and Sherry Kempf; her granddaughters, Kristi (Laura), Susan and Christina (Clayton); her great grandchildren, Avery, Ashton, Ivey, Cadence, Christopher, Mackenzie and Reagan; and her great great grandchildren, Devon and Roland.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mansfield Memorial Park (2507 Park Ave W, Ontario, OH 44906).
