We bid farewell to James W. Hunter of Shelby, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 22, 2025 at the age of 82. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thadeus and Emma Evelyn Hunter (Crick); his siblings, Thomas Hunter and Janet Mulvey (Hunter); and his grandson Brody Gunder.
He is survived by: his wife Louise; his children, Jennifer Hunter (Mason Boor), Wendy Gunder (Brian) and Jaime Lami (Mohsen); and his grandchildren, Day Hunter, Sydney Gunder, Hunter and Emery Lami.
In place of flowers, donations in Jim's honor may be made to the Shelby City School's in care of the Whippet Theater Program at 109 W. Smiley Ave in Shelby.
