Janis Roberta Payne Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janis Roberta Payne of Shelby, Ohio, who passed away on October 20, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janis Roberta Payne to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Paul and Lola Irene Graham (Sims); and her sisters, Sandy Nicholson, Melba Armstrong and Kyle Utz.
She is survived by: her husband Huff; her children, Russell Payne (Jennifer) of Elyria, Kyle Fenner (Brian) of Shelby and Karol Keiser (David) of Shelby; her grandchildren, Audrey Woodrum (Brandon), Graham Payne, Grant Fenner, Jordan Fenner, Miranda Keiser, Elizabeth Keiser and Grace Keiser; her great grandchildren, Thomas Woodrum, Amelia and Kaysen Linger; her sister Pam Weaver; and her sister-in-law Stefanie Triplett (Ed). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Penwell Funeral Home (168 W Main St, Shelby, OH 44875). A wake will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church (29 West St, Shelby, OH 44875).
