He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert S. Scherer and Mary Louise Scherer (Stout); and his sister Barbara Eilliott. He is survived by : his brother Robbin Scherer; his nephews, Bobby Elliott of Myrtle Beach, SC, Kevin Scherer (Megan) of Shelby and Michael Scherer of Cincinnati; his niece Jennifer Powell (Alex) of Virginia Beach, VA; and his friend Sarah Patton. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and close friends.
