With sadness, we share the passing of Joyce M. Leifheit of Shelby, Ohio. Joyce, born on April 8, 1952, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney R. Leifheit and Helen Leifheit-Carper (Charles Carper); and her siblings, Thomas Leifheit and Pauline "Polly" Schmitt (Fred). She is survived by: her sister Sidney Fouty (Mark); her stepbrother Reed Carper; and her nieces and nephews, Cara Dickerson, Pam Clarida, Steve Schmitt, Nathan Fouty (Cher), Sabrina Warner (Jacob), Joshua Fouty and Zebulun Fouty (Bridget). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stubbs - Conner Funeral Home (185 N Main St, Waynesville, OH 45068). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home (185 N Main St, Waynesville, OH 45068).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
