She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurlow Edwin and Mary L. Miller (Bloom); her husband Charles Floyd Hartz; her son David A. Hartz; her son-in-law Mark Tener; and her brother Walter Miller.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Gardner (Bill) of Shelby and Sandra Tener of Defiance; her grandchildren, Kimberly Vargo (Brad), Matt Gardner (Allie), Mariah Armstrong (Clay), Hollie Landon (Conner) and Nick Hartz; her stepgrandchildren, Sabrina Harpster, Sam Weber, Stephen Fryer and Mason Fryer; and her in-laws, Drema Miller and Howard Hursh. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
