He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery McClain and Bertha McClain (Creech); his siblings, Danny McClain, Diana Mabe, Billy and Eddie McClain; and his brother-in-law Gary Blanton.

He is survived by: his sisters, Donna Blanton and Rhonda Johnson (Lee). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
