With solemn reverence, we commemorate Roger Ray Furney of Shelby, Ohio, whose life came to an end on July 28, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Furney and Florence Furney (Kahler); his daughter Kathy Ann Furney; and his sister Wanda Jean Metzger. He is survived by: his wife Linda Furney (Gwirtz); his children, Brenda Culpepper (Mike) of Vermilion, Grant Furney of Oak Harbor and Amanda Bardon (Joe) of Bucyrus, Ohio; his grandchildren, Stormy, Koby and Evelyn; and his great grandchildren, Xavier and Sophie. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barkdull Funeral Home (33 N Gamble St, Shelby, OH 44875). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In place of flowers, a memorial contribution may be given in his memory to the Stein Hospice at 1912 Hayes Ave. Sandusky, OH 44870.
