He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cirata and Dorothy A. Cirata (Kolakowski); his brother Ray Cirata; and his sister-in-law Angelika George. He is survived by: his children, Andrew Cirata (Jen) of Shelby and Sarah Clark (Scott) of Richwood; his grandchildren, Swade Cirata, Kaden Cirata, Corbin Clark and Evelyn Clark; his siblings, Sue Mahek (Bob) of Shelby, Sharon Dorian (Mark) of Fairview Park, Tom Cirata (Michele) of Ocean City, MD, John Cirata (Julie) of Brea, CA and David Cirata of Defiance; and his in-laws, Pam Cirata of Avon, Karl Yetzer (Belinda) of Canal Winchester, Andy Yetzer (Ellen) of Shelby and Tom George of Shelby. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
