With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Ann Wallace Day (Shelby, Ohio), who passed away on November 22, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Oren Tackett and Tessie Tackett (Conley); her former life partner Glen; her sisters, Earnestene Cunningham, Geraldeane Brooks, Eloise Landis and Reta Hammond; and her stepdaughters, Betty Thomas and Sandra Pierce.

She is survived by : her children, James Wallace (Gale) of Wilmington, NC, Joan Martire (Anthony) of Sugarcreek, Ohio. and Jan Miller (Douglas) of Sugarcreek, Ohio.; her husband Jan L. Day of Plymouth, Ohio; her stepchildren, Brenda Bullins of Wabash, Indiana, Susan Reynolds of Seymour, Indiana, Bryan Day (Michelle) of Ashland and Denise Day of Wheatley, Kentucky; her siblings, Janet Sue Ryman of Plymouth, Ohio, Johnny Tackett of Willard, Ohio, Douglas Tackett of Shelby, Ohio, Jerry Tackett of Rock Hill, Barbra Porter of Shelby and Sandra Kistemaker of Norwalk, Ohio; her grandchildren, Jeremiah Miller (Kayla), Sara Napol (Edwin), Gregory Miller (Katie), Thomas Miller (Katie), Kyle Wallace (Rachel) and Anthony Martire; and her stepgrandchildren, Brandyn, Marilyn Day, Simon, Ariah and Garrett Hankins. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
