He is survived by: his wife Colleen Rees; his children, Eric R. Downing (Christa) of Sherrodsville, Krisann M. Stenz (Daniel) of Sherrodsville, Lon T. Downing of Mt. Orab and Bethany K. Downing of New Cumberland; his grandchildren, Braden C. Downing, Bryce P. Downing, Addlynn C. Downing, Easton M. Downing and Max J. Stenz; and his siblings, Mary Jane Walker (Earl), Linda Armstrong (Robert), James Downing (Rose), Carl Downing (Nancy) and Paul Downing (Jane). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Roxford Church (771 Roxford Church Rd SE, Dennison, OH 44621). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
