He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Jake" Jacob and Dolores M. Jacob (Wonderly); his brothers, Robert Jacob, Joseph Jacob and Michael Jacob; his brothers-in-law, Jack Speiser and Jim Guisinger; and his nephews, Keith Schliesser and Randy Jacob.
He is survived by: his siblings, Michele "Mick" Speiser, Patricia "Pat" Guisinger, John Jacob (Margaret), Jill Brown (Rob) and James "Jim" Jacob (Christine); and his sisters-in-law, Becky Jacob and Tonya Jacob.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home & Crematory - Sherwood (230 E Elm, Sherwood, OH 43556). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Isidore Catholic Church- Delaware Bend (16428 Speaker Rd, Sherwood, OH 43556). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Stephen Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be directed to St. Isidore Catholic Church for Masses or a Charity of the Donor's Choice.
