She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Esbenshade and Lydia Esbenshade; her husband Nohl V. Newman; and her siblings, Beverly Esbenshade, Alonzo Esbenshade Jr. and Wayne Esbenshade.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Ann Baker of Shiloh, Mary Ellen Newman of Worthington and Terry Eugene Newman (Mayra) of Hartsville; her stepson Larry Newman of Sterling, Viriginia; her brother Don Esbenshade; her grandchildren, Melinda Turk of Ashland, Ohio, Charlotte Miller of Gibsonburg, Amber Eyman of Lancaster and Jamie Baker (Ciara) of Carmel, Indiana; and her great great grandchildren, Kyle, Madeleine, Morgan, Madi and Amelia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home (313 Center St, Ashland, OH 44805). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Adario Global Methodist Church (1790 Adario East Rd, Shiloh, OH 44878). A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Adario Cemetery.
