He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bilek and Margaret Bilek (Brindza); and his siblings, Edward, Leona, Ted, Arthur, Thomas and Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Gecking; his son Brian E. Bilek of Shreve; his granddaughter Haley Bilek; and his brother Robert Bilek (Carol) of West Salem. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Schlabach Funeral Home (212 Jones St, Shreve, OH 44676). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
