He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry L. Tipton and Eva A. Tipton (Croskey); his wife Ella Sue Patterson; his children, Maurice and Sue Ann Berry; and his siblings, Howard, Marcus, Clarence, Albert Tipton and Erma Morris.
He is survived by: his son Norman Tipton (Gretchen) of Shreve; his son-in-law Randy Berry of Wooster; and his stepgrandchildren, Joseph Berry and Nicole Beeman (Jeb). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
