She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Haines and Eva Haines (Waltz); her husband John Jacob Gross; and her siblings-in-law, Luella Wittenbrink, Erma Long, Clara Shroyer, Opal Markley, Edna O'Quinn, Stella Kohler and Roy Gross.
She is survived by: her daughters, Candace Ford (Dick) of Celina and Patricia Meyer of Sidney; her grandchildren, Doug Weitzel, Dustin Weitzel (Becky), Daniel Weitzel (Brandy), David Weitzel (Jen), Mary Ann Wade (Derek) and Elizabeth Blatnik (Mike); her great grandchildren, Katie Rodriguez (Jordan), Emily, Carson, Waylen Weitzel, Graham, Emmitt, Eli, Will, Vivienne Weitzel and Evelyn Wade; her great great grandchildren, Jack and Mabel Rodriguez; and her friend Anita Heinfeld.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home (302 S Main Ave, Sidney, OH 45365). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at the Glen Cemetery (17500 OH-47, Sidney, OH 45365).
