She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry R. Barnes and Buryl V. Barnes (Morris); and her siblings, Robert Barnes, Roger Barnes, Mary Thompson, Pauline Myers, Faye LeForge, Rose Jolene Murphy, Barbara Jean Barnes and Joanne Barnes.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald E. Gebby; her daughters, Sharon Jennings (Bob) of Piqua, Joyce Miller (Tony Bensman) of McCartyville and Mindy Stewart (Justin Layman) of Bellefontaine; her stepsons, Daryl Gebby (Jeanne Best) of Bellefontaine, Donald Gebby of Florida and David Gebby; her brother David Barnes of Texas; and her grandchildren, Kiersten Houchin (Eric), Griffen Jennings, Sydney Kuhn (Kyle), Samantha Miller, Grace Jennings, Trey Miracle, Delaney Miracle, Joslyn Gebby, Cortnee Sidle (Rusty), Lauren, Logan, Chase and Chance Gebby. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials to honor Brenda may be made to Shelby County Animal Rescue Foundation (SCARF) and American Cancer Society.
