We bid farewell to Carol J. Lochtefeld of Sidney, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 30, 2025 at the age of 88. Carol touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Barhorst and Agnes Barhorst (Gariety); and her husband Leroy Francis Lochtefeld. She is survived by: her children, Mark Lochtefeld (Janice), Randy Lochtefeld (Katie) and Beth Spicer (Terry); her grandchildren, Michael Lochtefeld (Caitlin), Daniel Lochtefeld, Jaclyn Harman (Matthew), Haleigh Baker (Chris), Paxton Spicer and Kennedy Hoying (Shelby); her great grandchildren, Silvana, McKinley, Easton, Dallan, Helena, Catherine, Emery and Adalynn; and her siblings, Tom Barhorst (Bernice), Mary O'Halloran, Barb Francis (Larry), Jane Monnin (Vernie) and Edward Barhorst (Alice). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Adams Funeral Home (1401 Fair Rd, Sidney, OH 45365). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (324 S Ohio Ave, Sidney, OH 45365).
