We bid farewell to Carol J. Lochtefeld of Sidney, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 30, 2025 at the age of 88. Carol touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Barhorst and Agnes Barhorst (Gariety); her husband Leroy Francis Lochtefeld; and her siblings, Virgil Barhorst, Ruth Jutte, Thomas Barhorst, Lenore Otte, Mary O'Halloran and Leonard Barhorst.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Lochtefeld (Janice), Randy Lochtefeld (Katie) and Beth Spicer (Terry); her grandchildren, Michael Lochtefeld (Caitlin), Daniel Lochtefeld, Jaclyn Harman (Matthew), Haleigh Baker (Chris), Paxton Spicer and Kennedy Hoying (Shelby); her great grandchildren, Silvana, McKinley, Easton, Dallan, Helena, Catherine, Emery and Adalynn; her siblings, Barb Francis (Larry), Jane Monnin (Vernon) and Edward Barhorst (Alice); and her in-laws, Martha Kirk and Bernice Barhorst.
