She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Van Fossen and Ruth Murray; and her brother Bruce Van Fossen. She is survived by: her husband Frederick Richard Meiring; her former husband Carl Winemiller; her daughter Caren Covey (Joshua); her grandchildren, Larkin, Avila and Belle; her children, Cole, Kyndal and Kelli O'Malley (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Ryann, Jackson and Patrick.
