We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2025, at the age of 88, DeWane Eldon Eichenauer of Sidney, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Ina Wyona Eichenauer (Britton). He is survived by: his father Edgar Lowell; his wife Sarah Eichenauer (Enyart); his children, Timothy Eichenauer (Diana) of Sylvania, OH, Todd Eichenauer (Miriam) of Manila, Melanie Frew (Robert Patrick) of Madeira, OH and Jill Abbott (Scott) of Dublin, OH.; his grandchildren, Christina Clay (Brandon), Britton Witter (James), Kirsten Borne, Samantha Avendano (Carlos), Daniel Eichenauer, David Eichenauer, Hilary Haines (Luke), Mykahla Frayer, Alana Jenkins (Kyle), Heidi Eichenauer, Callie Williams (Nathaniel), Cassidy Frew, Joshua Eichenauer (Kayla) and Katrina Gossel (Bryce); his great grandchildren, Clover Borne, Elliott Borne, Niko Haines, Ethan Witter, Tessa Borne, Evan Clay, Natalie Witter, Logan Clay, Ramona Jenkins, William Gossel, Theodore Gossel and Ori Avendano; and his siblings, Hubert William Eichenauer (Constance), Larry Leslie Eichenauer (Mary) and Sharon Glee Moore (Gary). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sidney First Methodist Church (230 E Poplar St, Sidney, OH 45365). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at the Graceland Cemetery's. Ohio (975 S Main Ave, Sidney, OH 45365).
Memorials may be made to the Missions fund at Sidney First Methodist Church.
