In loving memory of Dora Ann McFarlan of Sidney, Ohio, who departed this world on April 24, 2026 at the age of 90. Dora leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Kies and Evelyn Kies (Magoto); her husband Robert "Bob" Lee McFarland; her brothers, Kenneth and Charles Kies (Doris); and her nephew-in-law Robert Bey.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Kenneth Kies (Barb), Brooks Kies (Peggy), Jesse Kies, Deborah Huebner (Scott), Ann Herring, Virginia Fouse-Howard, Paul Gross, Patricia Zimfler and Lynn Frillin; and her sister-in-law Janet Kies.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (302 S Main Ave, Sidney, OH 45365). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Shriner's for the benefit of children in need, as it was the passion of Dora and Robert's favorite charity.
