He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Cost and Waunetta Cost (Cavender); his son Brian Cost; and his brothers, Richard, Bill, Marvin, Clifford and Rodney Cost.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Brown; his daughters, Beverly Paxson (Dave) of Versailles, Elaine Stump (Mike) of Rossburg and Jennifer Cost of Anna; his grandchildren, Danielle Kuck, Brandon Stump, Dustin Stump (Marissa), Avery Bumgarner and Allison Bumgarner; his great grandchild Marceline Stump; his sisters, Dorothy Lowe and Peggy Millette; and his pets, Parker, Grace and Olivia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (302 S Main Ave, Sidney, OH 45365). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
