He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Pleasant and Sarah Pleasant (Wilhoite). He is survived by: his spouse Shirley (Gaier); his children, Gary Jr. Pleasant (Sarah), Amy Doseck (Scott), Michael Pleasant, Justin Pleasant, Steven Cotterman, Kyler Pleasant, Nathan Snyder and April Menne (Angel); and his siblings, Kathy Cupp (Scott), Junior Pleasant and Rosie Grillot. He is also survived by 18 grandkids.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (302 S Main Ave, Sidney, OH 45365). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
