George Ginter Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Ginter (Sidney, Ohio), born in Saint Marys, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ginter and Naomi Ginter (Fisher); his brothers, Joseph Ginter, Charles Ginter, Roy Ginter, William Ginter, Terry Ginter, Jimmy Ginter and Mick Ginter; and his half-brothers, Randy Longsworth, Lester Longsworth and Larry "Chub" Huston.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Woolley; his children, Brenda Echols (Randy) of Sidney, Gary Ginter (Shelly) of Bellefontaine and Shelly Frasure of Sidney; his stepchildren, Jenny Westerbeck of Sidney, Charles Westerbeck (Janet) of Sidney and Clayton Westerbeck (Lisa) of Sidney; his grandchildren, Cory Echols (Jill), Darian Ginter (Tarah), Garrick Ginter (Katie), Connor Echols (Taylor), Kylee Ginter and Logan Frasure; his stepgrandchildren, Brian Westerbeck, Hannah Westerbeck, Hallie Arnold (Payton), Hayden Westerbeck, Nora Westerbeck and Cale Westerbeck; his great grandchildren, Daxton, Gunnar, Drayden, Lily, Madeline and Roddy; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ace, Haizley and Hudson; his sister Jeannette Mack (Herb Richey) of Celina; and his half-brother Jeff Longsworth (Tammy) of St. Marys.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sidney American Legion or the Shelby County Veterans Services in George's memory.
