He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis George Snodgrass and Iris Loraine (Goshorn); his daughter Karen Keeten; his siblings, David Snodgrass and Joann Lenhart; and his brothers-in-law, Cecil Steele, Robert Steele and Robert Tester.

He is survived by: his wife Judith; his children, Jamie Arnold (Kevin Boroff) of Sidney, George D. Snodgrass (Kelly Knouff) of Kansas City and Angie Stepler (Steve) of Sidney; his grandchildren, Luke Stepler of Sidney, Lexy Poveda (Juan) of Columbus, Emily Musser (Tyler) of Sidney, Haylee Snodgrass and Lily Snider of Columbus; his great grandchildren, Leia Yancey and Elouise Musser; and his sisters, Sharon McLean (Mike) of Florida and Peggy Tester of Idaho. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
