With sadness, we share the passing of Hazel Johnston of Sidney, Ohio. Hazel, born on November 12, 1935, passed away on October 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Hazel for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Hazel’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph William and Annie Dowker (Ward); and her siblings, Peggy and Tony. She is survived by: her children, Heather Clark (Steve) and Stephen Johnston (Marilee); and her close friend Scout. She is also survived by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (302 S Main Ave, Sidney, OH 45365).
