With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Janice Marie Weigandt (Sidney, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Gitzinger and Eleanora Gitzinger (Purdy); her spouse Jerry Weigandt; her son John Weigandt; her sisters, Judy Lee and Darlene Gitzinger; and her siblings-in-law, Raymond Brush, Paul Combs and Dian Gitzinger.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Weigandt (Lisa) of New Bremen, Julie Behrens (Rodney) of Dayton, Jason Weigandt (Gwen) of Sidney, Jody Knapke (Adam) of Versailles and James Weigandt (Emily) of Olmsted Township; her grandchildren, Monica, Beth (Tyler), Grace (Garrison), Chloe, Jared, Jordan, Addison and Ethan; her great grandchildren, Avery, Henry, Ember and Genevieve; her nephew Daniel "Andy" Dunlap of Sidney; her siblings, Frank Gitzinger, Mike Gitzinger, Patti Lawrence (Mike) and Anita Combs; and her in-laws, Thurman Lee, Martha Ann Slagel (Paul), Joe Weigandt (Sarah) and Molly Buehler (Gary).
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Holy Angels Catholic School, Shelby County Right to Life or Hospice of Miami County.
