He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Saylor and Sherman Saylor Sr.; and his siblings, Sherman Jr. and Margaret. He is survived by: his sons, Jason Saylor (Ashley) and Mike Smith (Courtney); and his grandchildren, Kayden Smith, Amrielle McGhee, Camren Saylor, Silas Thompson, Ja'Nai Saylor, Gracie Saylor, Aiden Mathews and Evan Mathews.
