He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Hammer Sr. and Carol Ann Hammer (Michael); and his brother-in-law Jerry Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Theresa "Terry" Hammer; his stepdaughters, Melissa Griffith and Jennifer Beck; and his siblings, Mike Hammer, Darrin Hammer (Janet), Bruce Hammer (Teresa) and Brenda Hughes.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home – Sidney (502 S Ohio Ave, Sidney, OH 45365).
