He is survived by: his children, John R. Valentine Jr. (Gayle Wones) of Sidney, Mark Edward Valentine (Jennifer) of Sidney, Karen Sue Valentine of St. Paris and Tina Marie Valentine of Sidney; and his siblings, Robert Elliott (Diane) of Sidney, Larry Valentine of Sidney, Terry Valentine (Carol) of Sidney, Frances Brown of Bellefontaine, Tom Kirkham (Louise) of Florida and Harold Leiss (Carolyn) of Sidney. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
