He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Wilt and Dorothy Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Reiko Hirata; and his children, Gwendolynne Bowers (Chris), Jeffrey Wilt (Lalyn), Heidi Friedman (Dan), Sean Wilt and Bun Hirata (Olyvia). He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren.
