He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Anna (Matda); his sisters, Anna Suto, Margaret Gardner and Ethel Prater; and his brothers-in-law, George Suto and Dwight Prater.
He is survived by: his brother Frank Wolfinger (Suzanne); his wife Deborah Barr; his children, Megan Holtslander (Alan), Michael Wolfinger (Kaye) and Matthew Wolfinger (Kristina); his stepsons, Scott Barr (Tiffany Kemp), Christopher Barr (Emily), Eric Barr and Jeffrey (Jennifer); and his brother William Wolfinger (Beverly). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in John's name to the Senior Center of Sidney-Shelby County, 304 S. West Ave., Sidney, OH 45365.
