He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Given and Marvalene "Mivi" Given (Sprague); and his brother Ralph Joseph Given. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Given (Jones); his son Brent Given (Julie); his grandchildren, Breanne, Jackson and Charlotte; his daughter Jackie Shaffer (Given); his grandchildren, Kendall, Kherington, Kapri and Jayven; his daughter Leslie Given; and his brother Dale Given (Mary Shannon). He is also survived by niece and nephew; and numerous cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Sidney First Methodist Church (230 E Poplar St, Sidney, OH 45365). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 at the Graceland Cemetery S. (975 S Main Ave, Sidney, OH 45365).
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations in Mick's memory be made to one of the following athletic programs, with "Given" noted in the memo line: Springboro Schools, Sidney Athletic Department, or Lehman Catholic Athletic Boosters.
