She was predeceased by: her father Carl; her grandmother Tarter; her spouse Alva Slusser; her grandson Rylan; and her siblings, Woodrow, Delno, Burt, Barrett, Ceburn Dalton, Mae Haynes, Elvaree Burton, Dorothy Ward, Elta Ledford, Sylvia Elmore, Delphia Smallwood and Audrey Hughes.

She is survived by: her children, Bill Slusser (Elaine) of Sidney, Steve Slusser of Sidney, Sandra Beer (Devon) of Sidney, Kelly Slusser of Piqua, German and Isabell Pehnke; her grandchildren, Jeremy Slusser, Lindsey Slusser, Sara Mowery (Steve), Kristie Lambert (Derick), Trisha Patton (Ben), Colin Beer, Conor Beer, Macey Wright and Stacey Wright; and her niece Marcy Hammer. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home (302 S Main Ave, Sidney, OH 45365). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at the Graceland Cemetery (975 S Main Ave, Sidney, OH 45365).
