He is survived by : his wife Irene Day (Gambrel); his children, Darrin Day of Sidney, Denesa Goings of Sidney, Franklin C. Shields of Livingston, KY and Tammy Combs of Sidney; and his siblings, William Howard Day (Mary) of Sidney, Donnie Day (Diana) of Sidney, Raymond Day (Faye) of Jellico, TN, Anna Mae Slagle of Corbin, KY, Linda Bowlin of Jellico, TN and Marie Adkins of Troy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
