He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Gepfrey and Helen Gepfrey (Schweitzer); his son John Gepfrey; his siblings, Rosetta Baltes, Gene Gepfrey, Kate Frankhouser, Theresa Albers and Jim Gepfrey; his son-in-law Leonard Rich; and his siblings-in-law, Herman Baltes, Maynard Macke, Vernon Watercutter and Kathy Gepfrey.
He is survived by: his wife Saundra Lea (Shroyer); his children, Julia Rich of New Albany, Jeff Gepfrey (Rita) of Sidney, Greg Gepfrey (Joyce) of Kettlersville, David Gepfrey (Jennifer) of Piqua, Jerry Gepfrey (Margie) of Anna, Lisa Patton (Scott) of Englewood, Susan Moloney (Brian) of Sidney, Denise Wismar (Rex) of Sidney, Alan Gepfrey of Sidney and Connie Brenning (Jeff) of Westerville; his siblings, Willis Gepfrey (Pat) of Elba, MI and Miriam Macke of Mansfield; and his siblings-in-law, Ivo Albers of Celina, Fay Gepfrey of Laughlin, NV and Connie Watercutter of McCartyville. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (302 S Main Ave, Sidney, OH 45365). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (324 S Ohio Ave, Sidney, OH 45365). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at the Miami Memorial Park (7875 N Crescent Rd, Covington, OH 45318).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to honor Paul may be made to FISH, Alzheimer's Association, and Day City Hospice.
