He is survived by: his mother Zelda Hockaday (Boggs); his siblings, Teri Klikovits (Hockaday) and Mike Hockaday; his daughters, Kelly Wentland (Hockaday) and Katie Casares (Hockaday); his brother Greg; his wife Luann Hockaday (Smith); his granddaughters, Holly, Zoe and Charlotte; Kelly (Scott) and Katie (David).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home (502 S Ohio Ave, Sidney, OH 45365). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Salm - McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home - Sidney (502 S Ohio Ave, Sidney, OH 45365). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Graceland Cemetery (975 S Main Ave, Sidney, OH 45365).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the American Heart Association.
