He was predeceased by: his mother Kathy Sue Hardwick (Wagner); his grandparents, Robert, Ginny Burns, Harry and Elizabeth Wagner; his aunt Joyce Burns-Caudill; and also Robbie.
He is survived by: his father Robert Michael Burns Sr. (Jeni Catanach); his wife Shannon Burns (Shaeffer); his children, Lindsey Caceres (David), Cameron Burns and Mollie Burns; his grandson Atreus Bowie Caceres; his stepmother Gretchen Burns; his siblings, Jarret Hardwick (Brittany) and Chrissy Hardwick; his sister-in-law Sherri Shaeffer (James Adams); his half-siblings, Nathan and Stephanie; his siblings' children, Malachi Hardwick, Ruby Graffice, Maylee Graffice, Allison Dirmeyer and Kylee Sweat; his aunt Lori Burns-Derwent (Brian); his uncles, Tom Burns (Nancy) and Don Rumpfs; and his cousins, Jonathan Rumpfs (Natalie), Brice Rumpfs and Zane Rumpfs. He is also survived by numerous close friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Adams Funeral Home (1401 Fair Rd, Sidney, OH 45365). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Graceland Cemetery (975 S Main Ave, Sidney, OH 45365).
