She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Deal and Marie Deal (Catalana); her spouse Merle Eugene Hughes; and her siblings, Marlene Johnson, Vincetta, June and Michael Deal.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Jason Hughes (Leslie) of Sidney and Vincetta Jarrett Knight of Marion; her sister Patty Cagle of Piqua; and her grandchildren, Brandon Hughes (Rachel), Devon Hughes, Collin Hughes (Sarah), Alex, Zach Crim and Rebecca Sherlin (Chris). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
