She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Herd and Ruth Herd (Cromes); her husband Richard Russell; her siblings, Mary Jo Berger (Jim), Sam Herd (Linda) and Donna Cecil (Don); her niece Nancy Berger; and her nephew Jimmy Herd.
She is survived by: her sister Connie Helman (Harold) of Jackson Center; and her stepdaughters, Lynn Baker (Robert) of Tennessee and Amy Russell of Wisconsin. She is also survived by three step grandchildren, several step great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Wilson Health Auxiliary and American Legion Post 217 Auxiliary.
