She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Carey and Clara Carey (Pike); and her siblings, Edward Pike, Jayne Carey, Mike Carey and James Carey.
She is survived by: her close friend John Widney; her children, Angela Griner, Eric Bertsch (Alane), Rickey Carey (Tiffany) and Trey Carey; her grandchildren, Danielle Branscum, Britney Swob, Lailah Nelson, Daniel Keith and Christina Nation; and her sister Shelly Rexroth. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
