Though Velura may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Mayberry and Coilah Mayberry (Courter); and her brother Charles Mayberry. She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Schverak (John) of Melbourn, FL; her brother George Mayberry of Anna; and her niece Tonda Barrett of Bristol, IN.
