We bid farewell to Eugene Randall Fields of Smithville, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 13, 2026 at the age of 86. Eugene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Fields and Nellie Fields (Adkins); his siblings, Joyce Ann Leary and Thomas Fields; and his brothers-in-law, Douglas Justice, Willis Justice and Hufford Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Arlene Justice; his children, Pam Schrock (Scott) of Orrville, OH and Randall Fields (Louana Adkins) of Barberton, OH; his siblings, Fred Fields (Veda) of Somerset, KY and Cheryl Cooley (Alan) of Jonesboro, AR.; his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Fry (Ken), Ann Williams, Ruby Justice and Jill Justice; his grandsons, Scott Schrock (Lacey) and Jeremy Schrock; and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Jenden and Caden Schrock. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Church of God (1953 Akron Rd, Wooster, OH 44691). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Smithville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of God Youth Group (1953 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691) or Ohio's Hospice LifeCare (1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691).
