She was predeceased by: her parents, William Purdy and Dorothy Purdy (Barnhart); her siblings, Robert (Linda Purdy) and Patricia Purdy; her brother-in-law Donald Hockenberry; her nephew Rodney Hockenberry; her parents-in-law, Raymond and Carol Jean Shade; her niece Jodi Shilling; and her cousins, Pat Huffman, Linda, Stan Ramsier and Dave Maurer.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Shade; her children, Terry Shade and Dorene Clark (Rob); her grandchildren, Sam, Caleb, Gabe Shade, Matt and Karissa Clark; her sisters, Wanda Hockenberry and Becky Shilling (Dan); her siblings-in-law, Dick, Bob Shade and Ruth Rodden (Glenn); and her nieces and nephews, Rob Purdy (Julie), Steve Purdy (Mary), Dave Purdy (Lorie), Jon Purdy (Janet), Randy Hockenberry (Cindy), Ron Hockenberry (Cynthia), Renee McConahay (Aaron), Dan Shilling (Denise), Matt Shilling (Renee) and Jennifer Henderhan (Doug). She is also survived by numerous great-nieces and nephews, cousins, close friends and church friends.
